New Pumps???

Since I live in Norman, I'll take one of these over to Exotic Aquatics later this week and let him demo it for a few days. That way people can go by at their leisure and judge the performance.

A month late, but I did finally deliver one of these to Exotic Aquatics for those people who wanted to see one running.

These pumps are awesome. They really move some water. I had one running next to a SEIO 2600, and when I unplugged the 2600 you couldnt even tell. The SEIO's are junk next to this thing. I have yet to match it up to my Tunze yet, but I dont think I will be disappointed in the VorTech pump. They are definitly going to give Tunze a run for their money.

For that much more money, they better be good. :)

Sounds like a neat new product! Congrats, EcoTech! And thanks for bringing one of these into our territory...

I don't know if it would be overstepping any boundries our bylaws, but is there a chance that you can set up a demonstration at the next COMAS meeting? Bring a tank (or if it is a UCO, use the COMAS Tank) and then bring a Seio, Tunze, and VorTech pump all of roughly the same value and let us look at it?

**Note: And by value I mean the amount of flow. Not the price ;)

I would be willing to do that if its ok with Justin. The pump is only on loan to me so that part is up to him. But I would be willing to do it if its ok with him. I have a SEIO 2600 and a Tunze 6000 I could bring to compare. Or if someone had a Tunze 6100 it would be better since it is rated closer to the VorTech. Or if you get off your lazy butt Travis and come down here you could see. lol I do plan on getting some video of this thing though and I will at least post that. But I can already tell you the SEIO will be left in the wake.

:lmao: As much as I want to see this, I have the whole club in mind. Maybe if we ever get a conjoined meeting with OMAS, COMAS, and SOMAS, we can do this presentation. There are so many people out there that have questions regarding stream style pumps.

Oh, and Justin...... PLEASE! PRETTY PLEASE! With sugar on top? ;)

The pump at EA is actually a customers. For the sake of neutrality, I think I will ask him if he minds demo'ing it for the group meeting.

I have a pair of the Vortech's coming from Premium Aquatics hopefully tomorrow. I'm very excited! I'm looking to remove my two SEIO 820's and my maxijet 1200's and go with just the two Vortechs.

Anybody want to buy two SEIO 820's??? :)

Looks like somebody in this thread stole my avatar.
