New puppy in the house.

Here is the new little guy on the block. He was born on January 12th so he is still pretty new to the world. We haven't come up with a name yet but we are working on it. The older one is my little girl Alley. We just got the puppy yesterday evening.

They are still bickering a good bit with each other but they are playing a little as well. We are really hoping they can get along.

So....any thoughts on names?

Cute puppy. I found when we brought our new kitten home our older cat despised her until they found each other at the opposite ends of a string. Ever since then they have been best of friends.

AWE what a sweet heart. I can smell the puppy breath from here.

Cameron had the same hippo squeaky toy...until he chewed it's head off.

She wants to know if she bites it hard enough if it will squeek like the rest of her toys.

Actually, they are getting along better than I thought they would. There is still some tension but there is a good bit of playing as well. I think it will work out.

Also, we decided on a name. We went with Hughey.

awww, how sweet, they are both beautiful, you can tell you take wonderful care, look how shiney the coat is on your older one, awww, how lucky you are. I love my pups (4 and 5 years old, lol) so much.

im not sure about you though bruce. All these additions but still no marine aquarium.

Alley actually destroyed her kong somehow so she is due for a new one. Hughey has his own and Alley hasn't really even tried to take it. They both love to play with Alley's soccer ball though. Alley seems to be sharing pretty well.

I'm pretty proud of the way Alley is dealing with this so far. She has been the center of attention for six years now, it can't be easy having to share the spotlight for her.
