So for about 7 months I had 2 Occelaris Clownfish happily living together and sleeping together (they do not have any host coral). Well I found these two blacker ice clowns for 35 Dollars each at my LFS, so I just had to get them(they are smaller than my 2 original clowns). I put them in my 125 gallon and let it sit overnight. This morning all four of the clownfish were peacefully swimming with each other. Eventually the smaller of the original pair submitted to the even smaller Blacker Ice Clownfish. This caused the two Blacker Ice Clowns to fight and I had to take the loosing one out of the tank.
Now there are 3 clowns, 1 VERY SMALL Blacker Ice Clown, a MED Occelaris Clown, and 1 LARGE Occelaris Clown. After I removed the 1 Blacker Ice Clownfish, BOTH of the Occelaris clowns submitted to the Blacker Ice Clown. They are now a trio (i think). I say I think because they have been swimming around together happily and not one clown is being bullied. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?
