new rbta disappeared?

I added a new rbta Saturday. He attached immediately. Then I looked an hour later and he disappeared. The next morning I saw him again attached kind of behind rock work. Now I haven't seen him since. I have a huge rock that I can't see behind. Is this normal behavior? Oh, yeah, the power heads are covered. What do you think?

What kind of lighting are you providing? A walking RBTA usually indicates that there is too much flow or too much or too little lighting.

I have 2 250 MH's and 2 actinic blue strips and lots of flow for sps.
He came out of a similar tank as mine, similar as far as light and flow.

I wouldn't worry too much right now. It may still be acclimating to its new home. I would closely monitor your water parameters though.

If you have lots of flow, its probably just looking for a spot with indirect moderate flow.
