Specs:

Tank aged 6 months. 150 MH + 33 Actinic lighting. All chem values look good. My first anemone. I've been learning a lot but have a long way to go.

Purchased today. I thought it looked a little whiteish but it was under some poor lights. Let me know what you guys think please. It bubbles up when a shine a flashlight on it. I hope it will be fine in the AM when the 1st light phase kicks in.

I'm also worried about my powerheads. 2 Korillia nanos and one tunze nano. Do i need to cover each of these? The slits in the protectors on these are pretty small.

Currently drip acclimation approaching 2nd hour. Aprox one drop per second.

that is one heavily bleached RBTA...:(

post your water parameters...as this guy is going to need things pristine..

i would sit him in good flow and directly below the MH on the sand...i would also avoid directly feeding for a little while...wait for him to get some colour back..

as for the Koralias and the tunze...you may need to cover them..a nem in this bad a shape may just commit suicide given the opportunity..

you could always return him....

Once it gets settled in and comes out feed it finely shredded seafoods. I would feed every other or 3rd day until it starts gaining its color back.

looks ok.... it should be fine .

Ya no...That is not okay he's not supposed to be white. Hence rose bubble tip.:eek1:

I would definetly agree with NanoReefWanabe. He is gonna need some work.
For sure feed him very small amounts even daily.
And yep find a way to cover those powerheads good as he will probably wander as you have fairly bright lights and apparently he came from poor lighting. When your first light phase comes on tommorrow he is gonna run for the hills...:)

He will turn out great i believe you just need to feed him and be patient.

Commit suicide? Really? :sad1:

LOL...

It will be a challenge but you can pull it off. Just feed it we'll, good water params and cover the powerheads otherwise he will probably get chewed up.
Do you have a clown??? That might stress it more if you do.
Just something to think about:)

I do have 2 small tank born clowns. They like to swim against the back corner of the tank at night. That is where I was thinking of placing the the RBTA. On the bottom with the piece of LR leaning against the back so it can hide underneath if need be.

I think I'll just disable the internal power heads for tonight and fix them up in the AM.

Hopefully coming down stairs in the morning to find a much happier looking RBTA. I will post pic in the morning, and see how it does with the light. Good night.
