Sometimes they need to adjust to the new light as well. I got mine from a guy who has MH lighting (as do we) but we use different spectrums (I think that's the right word), and it stayed in the rocks for a few days, and slowly started exposing itself to the light. It came out a little farther for a little longer each day.
I don't know if that's what's going on with yours, but wanted to toss out the idea just in case

Someone told me to hold the pot upside down and take it out of the water and let just his bubbles hang in the water. He will let go or move towards the water. Have you ever heard of this.
That will cause stress, and you have no guarantee that will make him move. I only take them out of when I have to, like when they are going to a new home for example.
I ended up taking the pot out to see if I could break it with out hurting him and he let go. I put him close to where he was. He moved a little last night, but looks like he has foot in there pretty could now. He is looking pretty happy. Thanks for your help redvipe2010.
