New Red Shroom.. How does this look to you?

Just got my first shroom.. a little reddish one from LFS...
After acclimating.. it looked like this for a few hrs...

Now about 4 hrs in the tank...

So... does it look like its doing ok? Never had mushrooms before.... Wasnt sure if it should be draped all down like that...

Loks just fine to me! It opened up plenty in those first 4 hoirs, I've seen the stay curled up more than your first pic for a full overnight, then next day be full open, so just give it some time and I'm sure it will be spread out tomrw!

None of my red shrooms have split. Most of them let go and float around until I put them somewhere they liked, then they would move an inch and a half periodically & leave flesh behind to grow into another shroom.

Haha.. that is awesome.. I used that method with my GSP in my 29.. worked like a charm... :facepalm:
