I hope you don’t mind my chiming in here with a little more info on
the AccliMate. It’s quickly turning into the no-net “multi-tool†of reef
keeping that can be used for so many different things. Because of
the integrated strainer, cover and hanger the AccliMate reduces the
need for nets, plastic bags and buckets. Here’s a short list of
common tasks made much easier by the US Patent Pending AccliMate:
Transportation:
The AccliMate has a cover that enables it to be taken to your LFS
and used to transport your purchases instead of using plastic bags.
Fish Trap:
With the included fishing line the AccliMate makes an excellent fish
“trap and transport†tool.
Acclimation:
Drip acclimating with the included drip tube and flow control clamp is
very easy and the strainer allows you to release your specimen into
QT or display without nets…try netting lion fish, urchins and tangs!
Dips:
Fresh water and medicated dips can be done without the use of
nets. Just use the AccliMate to trap, dip and return your patient to
the tank.
Universal Hanger:
The included Universal Hanger can be used to hang the AccliMate
externally on Euro-braced, straight sided and bow front tanks!
