If anyone wonders whether or not Lumenarc reflectors work, look at all of the reflections on the water surface.

I still need practice getting good shots. I never seem to have the time to set up the tripod but I guess that's what it takes.

I have the same problem with top down shots, those Lumenarcs do work... :D

Nice tank, and I must add that I don't know what I like more, your tank or the woodwork around it. Beautiful! :D

That's a great layout. Have you ever tried to remove that strong blue cast from your images? Do you have Photoshop? If you do I can tell you how to mellow that cast or remove it altogether-- it's really easy.

drummer- I appreciate the feedback.

jsenke- I only have photoshop elements but I don't know how to use it. Your help would be appreciated. If you want to shoot me a pm on that technique, that would be great.

Very nice pictures and tank. I couldn't help but notice how similar your tank is to my 100 gallon tank that has been set up for about a year-and-a-half, with the same overflow in left corner, two island layout.

This picture is actually several months old, and the corals have grown out considerably more since then, but it may give you an idea of what yours may look like in the future.

regrettably I am not familiar with Elements. Are Layers (adjustment layers) an option in Elements? Doe syour camera have manual white balance adjustment?

They are similar. I can't wait until my corals grow to that size! It looks great.

wwouu dood i seriously like a lot your tank, stand and canopy ... just to pretty :) .
i hope someday i can have something like that hehe :D

chica83- thank you. A lot of hard work went into this tank, especially building the stand and canopy. But it is totally worth it!

Absolutely amazing tank. And the stand and hood make it all the more of an eye candy!!! I am assuming that you built the stand hood yourself, but if you are ever interested in making another one shoot me a PM!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. Yes I did build the stand and canopy. I documented the entire process in this thread. So you can build one too if you like. I wish I had the time to build these as I have had many requests. But I simply do not.
