Okay for those of you who don't know
I have a problem with the shipping to neotekz.
I shipped but UPS lost the package contents somewhere between VA and NY

Not my fault, I have called neotekz and he said he would wait for another one, now he has changed his mind and wants his money back. I just found this information in a pm a few minutes ago and have told him I will refund his money minus the fees paypal charged me just as soon as I can get to the bank and deposit some money.
Then hopefully it won't take to long to get money back from ups.

After reading this thread it looks like it has been a year since there was a group buy on refractometers. Looked like just a few of the people that made purchases are still very active at CVRC. I would like to have the refractometer and a TDS meter. Mary, you know everyone in our group...would you think about getting a group buy together for the newbies? You seem to have the connections on where to get the better deals.

Should have told me about this. Maybe could have gotten a better deal through our "supplier" I'll have to look. I haven't bothered with any more GBs bc I can't seem to get interest enough to place an order.

I will look for Charles' Number and see if I can call him, but it won't be before the middle of October that I would even attempt a group buy on anything. I just have way to much going on right now.
The last ones I got I don't remember the brand name but they were 31.00 shipped with local pickup. If I reshipped them to other areas I charged exact shipping for that. I even have a lighted one that I got for like 45.00 (I think but don't quote me on that)
If you are interested then I will try to put one together in October if my source is still available, and provided that we have enough interest.
So if those who are interested would post here. I will try to call Charles when we have 18 positive want one if they are still within the price range that I got the last ones. I just know the more we order the cheaper they end up being.
