NEW Rod's Onyx have arrived...

iReef, you don't have to brag!!! ;) Seriously, you have a beautiful Onyx as well as almost every Rod's Onyx I have ever seen. You guys make a great point, my fish will be awesome no matter what their coloration turns out to be.

no no, I was just answering your question about "what is considered a "full onyx?".. Your fish look great, and IMO..they will color up in no time.

Ok, gonna go out on a limb here..but TO ME this is what constitutes a perfect Onyx.

IReef69 do both of your clowns have the deformed middle bar and have they always looked like that? Just wondering if thatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s why yours have the half-black dorsal fin.

I actually like this coloring better. Of course, it's not under actinics so the orange doesn't look as dark. This was taken today at an LFS which explains the scratches and no control over the coloration. I like prefer the orange on the dorsal. It's kind of hard to see but she does have the black fringe on the front dorsal as well.
