New Rose BTA w/pics

Lighting setup are a pair of 175 MH 14K bulbs and two T5 actinics.

So far its doing very well. Have not feed him yet, so wondering when I what I should.

how come it looks more red in the first pic and less in the pics after it moved?
what lighting system do you have?

Agreed. I saw the same thing. Sometimes improper acclimation to lighting can cause a reduction in the zooxanthellae population. I'm not sure of the exact conditions of the tank but some "red" has been lost. Still a beautiful anemone.

Potentially, in the first pix you can see that the lighting appears more blue-shifted. Thus, I suspect we are looking at the same specimen, same coloration, under different lighting.

Gorgeous rose. :)

Yes, the lighting was different on the first two pics. The other pics, a few threads below, represent how it has always looked and still looks today. So far doing very well and has stayed in the same spot, so I'm guessing it's happy/content. Lightly sprayed some mysis shrimp on it yesterday and it reacted very well, bring it in.
Thanks for the compliments.

Now just waiting for the clowns to find their new home.

I wasn't talking about the spectrum, I was talking about the intensity of the light. Did you know sometimes when the PAR is too strong a reduction of zooxanthellae can occur?
