After months of waiting, preparing and getting last minute items (like the chiller for the QT), I finally made the order and got my seahorses yesterday. The QT has a little algae in it (the nuisance kind), which is fine for in there to help get rid of nitrates I suppose. Plus some caulerpa. So, here's a few snapshots of them now. I got 4 erectus, 2 male and 2 female.

Right now most of them are hanging out mostly underneath the feeding bowl I made (abalone shell upside down with some decoration pillars glued to it to provide a stand). They're wrapping around the pillars and seem nice and happy down there. A few of them (especially the largest yellow one) is going back to look around a lot and hang out on the orange Red Sea Acro decoration I've got. Seem (I think) all of them eat so far but hard to know if they all four have been snicking at the food or not. Looking healthy and peaceful at the moment at least.
Figure a week or two in QT to make sure they're eating well and (hopefully) train them to use the shell to eat out of and they'll be ready for the main tank.
