Hi Roger,
I've read many of the posts on set-ups but didn't really find a clear cut answer and was hoping for some help. I'm an old newbie lol. new to reefing. i am setting up a 120 mixed reef that is 4 x 2 x 2. Standard AGA reef ready tank. I have a cluster of different corals. I have zoo's, hammer corals, couple sps, torch corals Extra large colony, pulsing xenia, green star polyps, and mushrooms. i have several different power heads but am trying to get the optimal set up with the crazy sets of corals i have together. I am going to be giving them plenty of room so as not to sting one another. I will be transferring my 75 gallon to the new tank and have a 30 for my quarantine tank. The sump will be a 100 gallons in the basement. I am trying to set it up the best I can but have to save for each piece. So any reccommendations would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks

I think I would suggest a single 6000 provided the torch and hammer can be located at the far end away from the pump. If that isn't possible then 2 7400/2 with a multicontroller would be the best choice.
