Hi,
I have just setup my new Profilux Plus II with temp and pH probe. the Temp is off by - 0.8c from all my other temp gear, digital or otherwise, some of which is pretty dear equipment. Also in the start of the manual it says to calibrate the pH module, then further in it says not to... :spin2:

any help?

The pH module does not need claibrating it is the probe that requires calibrating.

i seriously would trust the GHL temperature, these are factory set and have never proven to be off. Remember ALL hand held digital temp gauges have atolerence of +/- 1 degree so you are even within that, I would not worry

i can only find calibration fluids for 4 and 7, no 9. is the probe supposed to come with it? seems silly that it didnt seeming the calibration fluids im looking at are for a pinpoint probe and contain about 30ml and are $1.32 AUD. considering you pay so much for a probe, maybe it would be a good idea to put the price up $2 and include the fluids.

anyone know where i can get these fluids in single use form in Australia?

I'm waiting on #9 calibration fluid as well. The standards are 4, 7 and 10 -- but the profilux calibration algorhythm only goes to 9.5 for some reason.

Anyway, definately use 7 and 9. I tried 10 and it sqews the readings. No surprise.

In terms of temperature, my Prof. temp probe reads lower than my other equipment as well -- but I'm trusting it...as every thermostat has a different reading the Prof. unit reads bang in the middle of them all.

To clear this up
The kits come as standard with 4 - 7 calibration if at the time of ordering you wish to swap out the 4 with a 9 just let your retailer know
Regards
Michael

I only received the probe. Do you mean it comes calibrated or it comes with the fluids?

That's the packs over there sjp770. Not the packs over here. Try a few of our online shops over here. Should be pretty easy to find.
