I ordered a load of rock from TB a bunch of years back and they were great. I had to get rid of my tank a few years ago and now my kids asked me to set it back up so I started looking around for a new supply of aquacultured rock.
I found a place that was cheaper then TB so I ordered 70 pounds, The boxes arrived by fedex about a week later. The rock was wrapped in wet brown paper bags and not a living thing in the rocks and they looked like they were pulled out of a pond. What a mistake.
If I hadnt seen TB rocks before I would have thought that was normal, One day later I placed an order with TB to hide all of the horrible rock I got from the other place. I picked up the TB rocks from the airport on and got them home. These rocks were packed in water in thick plastic bags.
The difference was night and day. In the end you get what you pay for. TB Saltwater may be a little more expensive but is well worth the money. My tank looks great and the kids love it now, (they didn't even bother looking at the tank with the first batch of rocks)
