My friend drive by it the other day and told me about it. I dont know the owner name or not sure if he in the club. But they post on CL about the store opening soon
Some places that get colonies in then chop them up into frags and sell the frags at a good mark up to make more money on each piece. This wouldnt be to bad if they let them sit for a month after cutting them up to settle in and grow a little to the frag plug but they usally just chop them glue them to a frag and sell.

there arent many shops that take the time to heal or QT their colonies when they come in AFAIK with LE corals and maybe AT being a cpl of the few, once their qt/holding tanks are up I believe it is SWJ's plan to do the same as well.
Also makes a difference if they are cutting up a big rock into decent size pieces or fragging a few polyps off onto a plug, the higher head count rock pieces seem to do better quicker than the small frags on plugs.
With this store and Epic Oceans opening sometime in the near future AZ is a hot spot for LFS now.

Was in there today. Super nice guy , a pretty decent selection of fish even a couple nice angels. Slim pickings on the corals though. He said a frag tank was coming in the near future. Small dry goods area but it's mainly good stuff no bulkheads or anything though.

This is an awesome shop, the people are very nice and helpful and the prices are reasonable.
