New skimmer, Anyone have any experience?

Anyone ever have any experience with this skimmer, Super Reef Octopus XP 2000? I purchased one a few days ago and just got it in the mail. It's going in my 180G "Agressive reef"

A friend of mine (Not a RC member) has one its a kick A$$ skimmer but I think a 180 is pushing it to its limit. whats bio load going to be like he has it on what I would consider a heavy stocked 90 and it is just about right.

Bio-load might be a bit heavy, I currently have a cali ray, small wrasse, and a small 3inch hippo tang. Factory rated for 200G? Are they overating their skimmers here?

I have a SRO-3000 on my 180 and it is a freakin beast! I feed heavy and have a heavy bio load and my 3000 keeps up with no problems. I do believe you will be ok. Wait to you see the thick smelly nog you pull with that bad boy . I'm sold on mine...

in my opinion most companies over rate their skimmer but also there is much more to it than skimming and I am sure that your maintenance practices are much better than his

Well quick update on the skimmer, this thing is a beast pulling gunk. Doesn't seem to work at peak due to my low salinity in the tank, but planning on slightly rainsing that. If anyone is considering this skimmer have no worries.

I will post a pic of some of the gunk it produces within a few days of cleaning. The bubble blaster pump on this thing produces the most micro bubbles I have seen by any pump even near this size!
