New Skimmer help!!!

I just bought a new Bubble Magus Curve A5.
Assembled as per the absolutely horrible instructions...and the pump doesnt work at all....receptacle is good to go... I dis-assembled the unit, submerged just the pump...plugged it in and nuthin....

Am I missing something... or did I get a dud?

My fallow period from ich is over Jan 4th and was hoping g to get this bad boy figured out before then.

Any thoughts?

Other than double checking to make sure nothing is blocking the impeller it sounds like a dud.

did you take apart the pump to see if the impeller is jamed

I haven't. ..but that sounds reasonable... I'll try that!
