New skimmer time

My old beat up reef octopus is finally breaking down. Instead of putting a new pump on a subpar skimmer, I'm looking for a better one. Anyone have any favorites or anybody got a nice one to sell? It will be for a med- heavy stocked 220

after researching last year it was pretty clear the super reef octopus xp models were the best bang for the buck. the bubble blaster pumps perform very well. For your system an xp 3000 should get it done. My system is a little larger with the 220 and a 93 plus the 40 frag tank, 40 refugium, and the 75 gal sump I have been running the xp-5000 internal for the last year and have been very pleased.

Your skimmer is a beast! I've looked into those and people seem to love them. Guy here on the forum is selling a h&s A150-F2001 for a good price. It's a little smaller than I was thinking I needed but people say they are built well and perform great. Maybe performance will make up for size? Any opinions ?

I bought a SRO2000 with the Bubbleblaster pump after seeing Jorge's and it works well on my 75G (maybe a little bit of overkill). They are nice skimmers and won't kill your pocket book if you decide to buy new.
