Got my new snowflakes and am heading home to acclimate them.
Did you buy it from the guy that claimed to be selling premiums yesterday... jk good luck!
nice, cant wait to see them in the tank
What did you pay for them & what was the price of the premium ones?
Like I said, it was less than a quarter of the other guys asking price. Premium, I don't know what your talking about. These little beauties are Premium in my eyes. So, what makes them premium anyway?
Oh I get it now, I think he wanted like $400.00.What did you pay for them & what was the price of the premium ones?
Great buy!!! I am loving it!!!!!!!
^^sounds weird if she is the female. Could be due to being in a new home.
Thanks for the explanation on the Snowflake grade system. I really had no idea how it worked. I am very happy with my "Semi SnowFlakes". These two have some great personality and don't appear to be scared of me. They will come right up to the glass and dance around and come very close to my fingers as I feed them. They are truly an enjoyable pair of fish. I hope to some day raise their fry, just for fun.:beer:well as for premium yes they are totally different, thats the reason why the others were $400.00 because premium snows have connecting white on their heads and rear end of the body, you got some very nice fish there but they would be semi snowflakes, not a bad thing but thats just how they are graded, now when they have fry and you raise them, there will be some snowflake grade As and so on even almost wyoming white type snowflakes, so keep your head up and as long as your happy well thats all that matters!!!
yup raising the fry is challenging and fun all in one,, when that day comes you can pm me for any info as i am a breeder myself, heres a link to some of my babies ranging from semi snowflakes to extreme snowflakes and even wyoming white type clowns very awsome and fun!!Thanks for the explanation on the Snowflake grade system.
