New SPS bleaching

I was wondering if anyone has any idea why it seems some of the corals I buy from liveaquria bleach and die. While others do fine. It happens within three days. I have a 700 gal reef tank and this has happened twice.

It could be a number of different factors and you will need to provide a bit more detail about the system. What are the levels, lights, are you acclimating them properly?

Because you buy mari-cultured colonies which are difficult to acclimate to aquariums. Most of the colors are developed and we put them in flow zones in which they weren't previously such as too high or too low. Also, lighting and parameters play a role as well. Its better to just buy frags and let them grow instead of paying $70 to watch corals die.

+1. OP sorry for the loss
