yeap, because the most corals that we see in the LFS are exported from asia, mostly from Indonesia, Fiji and Philippines, so with the shipping cost and risk it's more expansive in North America than in Asia. so it's very luck living in Asia:lolspin:

How's the customs dept at the airport? Will they let me carry some frags back home with me in my check in baggage ?

Oh, that's crazy guy, but welcome to HK! When you come i'll tell you where to buy the most beautiful corals.
for the customs dept i don't know if it's permitted to take corals out from HK, but i think it's ok to put some frags in the check in baggage, because the airport staff never asked me to open my check in baggages.

thank you Denadai! but in you expeience the birdnests are fast grower ou nao? in the last 2 months since i got it, my pink birdnest didn't grow nothing, but the coulor got more pinky.

Go by subway to prince edward and get out at the exit C, the store is at the end of the road.

Looking good ricardoz... expect some corals to darken a little but be patient. All his corals are always very light in colour when they arrive.
Actually it is Exit D at Prince Edward station, turn right and walk to the end of the street. It has a big blue sign around the shop.
Exit C is best to get to another shop called Pro Coral.
For those wondering if you can carry corals/frags on an aircraft out of Hong Kong (let alone other countries)... It is very difficult!! Check in baggage... forget it!! Cargo holds are generally not heated and bags are thrown around. Although staff will not check your carry on baggage when checking in, when you go through security the staff will see and question what it is. Remember excessive liquids are banned going to some destinations.
I have met some Cabin Crew/Pilots who have tried to carry corals on board their aircraft and the process is difficult for them... it would be even more for passengers.

yes, it's very dificult to keep the light colour, some times i bought corals for their light colours, but they turned darker in several weeks, although they still look good, they don't have the original colour that i bought for. so i think maybe only Spur 2 can help.
this A. loripes, when i got it it has green body, white & brown tips, but 4 week later, it got a fully purple colour with green body, still look good and healthy, but not that colour i bought for

lolI honestly dont wanna risk killing corals....it was just a thought...i dont think il do that and create a flood in the cargo hold of an aircraft ....
