New stock for 30 gal

Just found out that I lost my freckled angler , had him for about 6 months and then found him floating last night. Still trying to determine cause of death, might have gotten heater burn. I like anglers but I'm going switch the stock. I'm going to set up another angler tank at some point (probably soon) , but after losing a pictus and the freckled i'm going to change up the stocking. I'm looking at some of the smaller scorpionfish, or was thinking of doing a toby puffer community (anybody attempted it?) which was the plan before I found out about frogfish. The footprint on the tank is the standard 30 1/4 x 12 1/2 x 18 3/4. Do you think either of these stockings would work?

Stock 1:
1 x species of waspfish
1 x fu manchu lionfish
1 or 2 x Leaf fish

Stock 2:
1 x Valentini puffer
1 x Blue spotted puffer
1 x Central American Sharpnose puffer
1 x Bennet's Sharpnose puffer

Or another frogfish (LA just got these guys in stock)
Stock 3:
1 x Histrio Histrio

I know that stock 2 might be overstocked, if so I could drop one of the puffers. Does anybody have anything else predatory and/or aggressive that I could keep in a standard 30? Also been thinking about toadfish.
