New store in Mentor

I see a new store is coming to mentor called Reef Oasis on Mentor Ave. Anyone heard anything or know who is opening it? I went to ship something at UPS today and pulled up and right next door saw the coming soon sign.

I know the guy opening it up. It will be a killer store....Chris is an active hobbiest and has lots of knowledge. Last I knew he was waiting on suppliers and filling his tanks with RO water. He has a website....http://reefoasis.org/

I wish a hobbyist would set up a store closer to Youngstown. We have two shops that deal with saltwater. They are both horrible with crappy livestock and stupid prices

Same here, closest store is 40mins from me...minus petco but I only get a few dry goods/food there...

I work in Youngstown but live in Alliance. But for a while there Harbor pets in Boardman had some decent stuff The last time I was there though they had set up a few more salt tanks and had MAJOR Cyano outbreak. And their stock was very low then.

That place is a joke. Fish are always covered in parasites and diseases. The people that work there are great people but the condition of the place is not up to par. They would rather sell $1300 puppy mill dogs

Yeah. I know. I went there a couple times that things were PAR. Not great but just ok. Then the last time they raised the price of reef crystals to $99.99 and the tanks looked like they were purposely growing every color of cyano. Never returning there now. Just seeing if you're experience was similar lol

No updates via twitter or the website. It's the middle of the month and I need beer and corals!

He's very close, he's got to wait for licensing from the city.

Hey guys I just stopped by to check out this store. Chris and his wife have a great little store going there. Great prices on corals and dry goods!
