New Store on 124th near Capital?

Great place!
They're not fully setup yet, but what they do have is very nice. When they finally get it all setup, i think it will be one of the better reef stores in Milwaukee (not that the bar is all that high currently).
Alot of their business is maintenance, but Dustin usually is running the store. Great guy and very knowledgeable. He use to run the saltwater part of the fish room at Pet Stuff up in West Bend.

i stopped in there like a month ago and there prices were HIGH! torch corals were 100, live rock9.00 a lb, prem rock at12! even the fish were high. i think it will flop for a store unless they get on a main road. then maby the prices will drop. dont get me wrong they had decent stuff, but i walked outta there saing dang!

I thought the prices were average. They weren't cheap, but they weren't any higher than their competition.
I really don't mind paying a higher price as long as I know they have quality livestock that has been watched and is healthy when I get it.
As far as location, main road = higher overhead. Let's face it, this is not a mainstream hobby where any John Doe driving by is a potential customer. People looking for these types of products are willing to search out a store. There are many shops in Chicago (the former Sharky's, D*rk L*rd C*r*l, Midwest Reef Supply, etc) that have proven you don't need a high traffic retail location to be successful.

I stopped in yesterday. Very clean store and friendly staff. Livestock was small, but they were getting some stuff in within the week. They're still setting up some new tanks corals, so when this is completed, it should be alright. Prices were acceptable on some things and high on others. The two coral tanks are connected and they're working on a flatworm issue, but they're on it. I'd go back.
