I hear there is a new store opening soon in Mercer PA.
It's called the Coral Cave.
Specializing in coral & salt water fish.
I think opening day is April 9th.
Knowing the owners, we should be seeing some new and cool stuff!
Can't wait to check it out!
I do not have a address as of yet, maybe some knows it and can post it up.

Prices were very good - almost crazy cheap. Store is just opening and it is pretty small - so hard to say what it will eventually be like as it is a bit rough now. He was running some great specials on both fish and snails. Certainly not a "Show" or pretty looking type store- look more like a whole sale place currently. But, its new. and maybe the minimalist look will keep the prices down on livestock. I did not see any new retail hard goods, but he did have a few used frag tanks for sale. Because of how many people were there buying - I could not tell you what he has available - I would call. I went to pick up some Emerald crabs and Fetta wanted to get a blond Naso - but neither of those items shipped for him.

Thanks for the report Ted!
I take it you did not get to get your Alk test kit then??
I did hear the prices for the fish were very reasonable.
We will have to find out what their goal is for stocking corals.
I'll probably be going up in the next few weeks.

No tests kits. Coral pricing = ?? I am full so didnt look. The coral selection was ok = mostly frags of zoas, duncans, some chalices.

Just stoped a Coral Cave in Mercer Pa.
Great price on quality fish and coral.
I picked up a Acan colony 5" in size for a ridicules
low price. Also six line wrasse and a powder blue
tang. Good people Tina and Jerry
A+

I went up to the coral cave for the first time last night. Store wasn't open but he told me he would be there until around 8. Fish were all very healthy and fat, corals all looked good. Their prices are by far the best around. Picked up a 4" Naso for $67 and a nice 10 head Acan for $39. If you are into Acans this is the place to go, he had tons. He had some really nice (and cheap) acans and some really nice high end ones. Great prices on clean up crew, pretty much internet prices but no shipping. Also had the fattest and happiest mandarin gobies I've ever seen. Wish I could have gotten one, but my pod population is always low. Well worth the drive.
