Is that what they are calling it? I thought it was just going to be another location of Ocean Blue... Well, looking forward to checking it out! Now all those people who are used to seeing the sad sad fish sections of petsmart and petland at Waterford will get to see a real shop

I just was at the Waterford Lakes home depot and decided to check out the new shops there. I saw Aquaria Studio and it is looking amazing. I can't wait for it to open up. We really need a nice store like this in the area. There has to be at least 6 large holding tanks in the back....hopefully it will be full of coral. I also spotted a nice Oceanic Tech Tank in the front. Keep me posted when it opens...maybe we should do a meet there?

Drove by today checking out all the neat shops they are putting in waterford.. Didn't see the store open but I see tanks with water and some stuff..
It'll be nice to do some window shopping in a place so close to where I live ;p And I totally agree that the people need to see a real store like this versus those chain stores

Yeah. Makes me happy that we will finally have a store that awesome in the area, but I gotta say this... I feel lucky to have a store like that and like Ocean Blue, just because of what you said chrisstie, I don't like the chain stores either. No specialization. No in depth knowledge on the saltwater side to really speak of, and horrible product.
On a third note. I must also say thanks to Vinh, Tommy, Teddy, Ross, Kurt, Ebay and all the guys at Ocean Blue for doing this, and for giving me the knowlege and support I need in my hobby, and as I continue to grow in the hobby I can say that I truly feel lucky to have all those guys there for me, they have been and will always be great aquarists, and great friends

Orb, yes it is. I wonder how he's going to be able to afford the rent of Waterford. Absolutely perfect positioning for a store, though. Five minutes from me and with the way the school has increased in population, getting over on this side while there is still a store space left was brilliant. UCF had 19K people here when I started. Now there are over 45K and we are the seventh largest school in America. There have to be a few reefers in the bunch.
I agree with ac, I'm excited about OBII, or AS. But I am also really excited about SITCII. Finally, I will have room to move around and see all the pretty corals. That store was built for asians, not germans. At over 6ft tall, I could barely manuever in her old store. This new one is three times the size and from what I've heard, no more of that asking if something is for sale...everything displayed in the new store will be for sale. The old store will be the growout area. I absolutely cannot wait. This is so exciting.
