New stuff!! Legions of evil, AOG, lunar eclipse, tidalzone aquas

I've slowely been collecting small frags of my favorite zoas over the last year+. Its coming along nicely, i added these over the weekend. Thought i would share with everyone!

These are my new favs, awesome colors

Legions of evil

AOG only had to buy 1 polyp, the guy wanted to be sure they colored up well. And in the process grew 5 new polyps

Thanks! The second couple pics are from today, the first one was sunday the day they went in the tank. I had some diatoms on the glass today that i didn't clean off. The colors are truely awesome. I got them from a local guy that does a maintenance biz.

I haven't seen the LOE's before... Spectacular... Clearer pics would be great though... But if that first pic is any indication, I'm envious...

Was gone all weekend. Sorry for no update. I'll work on getting a better pic tonight. My tank is in the diatom stage since my upgrade.

I'm using a 6-54w T5 TEK fixture, 3 D&D superactinic, 2 D&D aquablue+, 1 GE daylight 6500k.

Still working on getting the placement of the corals and light correct. My PPE haven't opened in about 10 days

if the PPE polyps look healthy, I wouldn't be worried much.. I had a frag of PPE not open for 2 months, then took another month to finally settle and start reproducing... be patient with them.. good luck..

just waiting for clearer pics of the LoE and Tidalzone aquas..

Marvin - thanks a TON for that info on your PPE. I was getting really worried. All other PE zoas i have are doing great, so i was perplexed. PPE don't look bad, just not opening. Once in awhile i'll catch em maybe 1/4 open but thats it. The disc is still deep purple and mouth still bright green so that gives me hope!!

did you upgrade your tank as well? it says on your signature that you have a 29g...

I think we're ready for a full tank shot...

As Marvin asked, did you get a bigger tank. That Tek is way to much light for a small tank like that. Just a word of caution I have to shade all my zoas for a week or so to get used to my 6 bulb Tek. I have some Jokers that took about 2 weeks to open. Just be patient when introducing new stuff. Once they are used to the light they will grow like crazy. Good luck.

Yah its a 75gal tank now. I upgraded 3 weeks ago. Lost all my SPS due to the increase of light and improper acclimation so i know what you are saying The Beaut!! Sad, but all my zoas are fine, and most of my LPS are fine.

I'll try for a FTS. Its not gonna be pretty. All my zoas are on the sandbed scattered around, and the only rock i have is from the 29 so its sorely lacking that reef feel at this point.

This is the day after the transfer. I've changed out an actinic for a daylight bulb which give much better color IMO.
