Reefer Who needs Help!!!
I have been looking at my sump for weeks now!:blown: that's what I want to do to it. I have been mulling over a sweet cube Refugium for my 93 cube. I have about 25x25x16 to play with. I need 12x12 for my skimmer or maybe upgrade to a smaller skimmer with a bigger punch. My whole deal is I want a Refugium that's stocked with sweet macros, mud, pods and maybe nano fishes. My problem.....I am not a builder and most builders are EXPENSIVE:uhoh3:. I have about $150 to build it anyone know a local who can do it or have one that might work. I want the Refugium to be 24x12x12.

Soooooooo any help peeps:dance:

$150 will just cover the cost of acrylic.
Figure you have 4 sq ft for base, sides are 3 sqft each giving 4+3+3+3+3 = 16 sqft minimum.

At $8-10 per sqft for 1/4" acrylic... That's about $150.

So DIY. :)

Shawn - are any of the sides viewable or is it just a look down tank - I have enough scratched up pieces to build most of it laying around - would probably just need to buy a few square feet at the most - Send me a text

Well the side that you cut out on the stand is also going to be a viewing area for the fuge. So yes I would like to see through it. I want to be able to house a pair of cardinals in it. I want to be able to the macros.

Jeff if I could do one side as a viewable side that would be perfect. I was thinking about modifying the removable door to have a glass viewing pane like your old sump.
