you sure its fully cycled? only 3 weeks old...
keep testing your parameters and watch for algae blooms the first few months.

the only way i can see a 24 hour cycle time is if all that you put in the tank was from an established tank and kept underwater during the move.

Even this would not fully cycle a tank in a day. Most of the bacteria live in the live rock & sand, not in the water itself. And even if you took *everything* in one tank and put it in another, there's going to be some die-off, I think that's all everyone is trying to say. Otherwise, tank looks great, just watch your water... and great job on the pipefish in the other, too!
The original tank was break down about 5 weeks ago, becasue I have to move it in order to setup 3 more tanks; this tank is the first of five tank setup that I hope to complete in the coming weeks, by then all five tanks will be connected together.
I sold most of the original corals before the move, all the rocks and corals, fish were move to a black pond I purchase from home depot. Oh, anyone thinking about using one of those pond DON'T! They SUCK. I return my as soon as I don't need it anymore.
There is no more sand in the current tank just live rock, I did have some die off once the water was fill up. Only about 30 gallons of the original water was put back the rest are fresh mix salt water.
The ammonia level in the first two hours jump to about 2.0, after I added bacteria in one hour it went down to .5 and the next morning its back to 0 thus the cycleing is completed.
