New Tank 85G SPS

What kind of coral and how much. Do you have a anemone?
Thanks
Lawrence

I'll make a list of corals and equipment later this week. Mostly mushrooms, zoas and about 80Lbs of live rock. Would consider selling whole tank, minus the stand if someone was interested.

Pm sent. Love the build, its so nice and clean. Going to have awesome flow

Ya really excited about the CL. FLow so far is amazing. Hopefully I can get it positioned well and not have any real sand storm problems.

Got a couple updated pics of the new build in the link. Haven't gotten to make a for sale list yet. I will try to get it this weekend.

Thanks for posting this.

Coming along nicely :-D

I was first scared of power outages in your layout until it struck me that CL = closed loop lol.

Ok so here's a break down of things I'll be selling off. Livestock will have to go before the equipment.

If there's anyone interested in the complete system let me know.

All items are OBO.

80Lbs. of live rock. $140.00
The rock has been in the tank for about 2.5 years and has a bunch of zoas and mushrooms. The rock unfortunately also has a lot of majano. I recently added a filefish who has started eating them pretty well. Filefish and two Yellowtail damsels are free to whoever takes the rock, if wanted.

HOB Overflow and sump $100.
Sump is 10"w x 24"L x 15"H. It has two filter sock holders, a 10"x10" Fuge. 10"x7" sump, bubble trap with foam pad. Sump is drilled with a 3/4" bulkhead for pump and also has a drilled float for top off. Can also have the existing sand bed and cheato in it if wanted.

AquaC Urchin skimmer w/ mj1200. $80.00

250W MH Retro w/ electronic ballast and 20k bulb. $90
Bulb has only had 2 moths use.

Poseiden PS3 External pump. $75

55g AGA tank, not drilled. $100
Has oak trim

PS3 Pump sold.

If rock doesn't sell by the 13th I'll have to just let it dry out. So make an offer if interested.

Frags of

Six red monti caps, 1"-3" $5ea
zoas (two 3-4" clusters) $10ea
10 mushrooms $2ea

Free Friday afternoon and most of Saturday. Need them all gone this weekend!

559-3582 work cell, if I don't answer leave a message I'll call ya right back.

Also have
Lifeguard Quiet One 9000. Brand new! Internal or external pump. 1.5" in/out. $100
2300gph

Free- Yellow tail damsel (very healthy, just not what I'm wanting in the new tank)

Any luck clearing out all of the coral frags? Picked up some stuff this weekend and the tank looks awesome. Very well thought out and designed.

New Lights!

Wound up ditching the Ice Cap setup and went with reefgeeks LET retro. 6x 54w.
The color did not come out exactly like I expected but will change later.

Very please with the intensity however, polyps seem to already be really stretching out for light.

Also got in the 50mL doser from BRS for top off. Have a line running to a 20G reservoir on the other side of the wall in the garage. Hauling water in everyday was getting old fast.

very cool :-D If it was mine, I'd swap out 2 of the blues for a purple plus and another white. Should balance things out well (I assume those are ATIs)

Thanks Gomer, I will definitely consider doing that. Would like a little more blue/purple color. The greens and blues of my sps seem a kinda washed out. The red is looking good however.

Current bulbs are
4 ATI Blue +
1 ATI Aquablue Special
1 GE 6500

Do you think changing two Blue+ for the purple plus would help with the color?

Just got a chance to look back through your build thread. Looks like a really cool setup! I've always wished I had spent more time working on plumbing and flow when I setup my tank like you did.

I'm currently running 150watt phoenix, 2x blue plus, 1x purple plus, 1x super actinic and I like how it all looks.

4 BP is a bit much. if you want more balanced color, swap a blue for a white or a purple plus (for more reds). If you want more "pop" swap a BP for a super actinic.
