New tank and Anemone

I have just setup a new tank and gotten live rock from someone on Craigslist. There was an anemone on one of the rocks so i left it. The guy at the local shop said that as long as i have already started dosing the tank with phyto i should not have to feed the anemone. Is this correct? I would hate to lose the little guy before i get my tank up and running.

how big is the anemone? nems dont eat phyto, they mostly use the light for food.
can you get us a pic? if its a tiny looking one like the size of your piny and tannish see thru then its bad.

Ok i will take a pic when i get home. It's small and kinda clear. Not a lot of color to it but it looks ok as far as not shrinking in and all its tentacles are out and about.
