New tank and clams?

I am setting up a new tank and am interested in adding tridacna clam and flame scallop.

Can these go in early on or ahould i wait a few months for tank to mature?

Are there any species that do not combine with these creatures. I will want to add anemones and soft corrals.

Any thoughts?

I wouldn't do the Flame scallop at all due to the feeding requirements being hard to meet. As for adding a Tridacna clam as long as your tank is stable and you have a good handle on water chemistry it should be fine.

IF this is your first reef tank I would give it more time to mature and give yourself more time to gain experience. Starting with easier inverts/corals is a good way to gain that experience. Newer tanks can go through a lot of changes over the course of months and even years.

Thanks. I have had a lot of fresh water tanks. This is my first marine tank. I will put on wish list. Is there any livestock i want to avoid for these clams ?
