Hello everyone,

well i first started planning and collecting the equipment about 2yrs ago and joined here and have been reading everyday and now after alot of things going on i finnaly got the tank set up and going.

Here's what i have.
50 gallon acyrlic tank.
50 to 60lbs live rock
CPR BakPak
Peguin 170 power filter
Maxijet 1600
1x96 watt 50/50 power compact
1x96 watt 10k power compact
water 1.023 to 1.024
PH 8.2
Temp 77f

My plan is to start out with a few fish and some beginner type corals like from live aquaria has in their "beginer" package like candy cane and plate corals.

Fish i plan on are the following:
1 x Fire Fish
2 x Ocellaris Clownfish
1 x Neon Blue Goby
1 x Spotted Cardinalfish
1 x Yellow Head Jawfish

Cleaning Crew
2 x Emerald Crabs
2 x Peppermint Shirmp
10 x reef hermits
10 x Cerith Snail
1 x Bumble Bee snail

I have had the tank setup now for 4 days and have the cleaning crew already. The live rock is already cured. Do i have enough flow in the tank? i am thinking about getting another power head. Also does my stocking list look ok?

I have learned so much here, it has been great.

Thank you

Emerald Crabs are cute and cuddly in the beginning, however they can become an issue as they grow older. Two more peppermint shrimp wouldn't hurt to replace the crabs unless you want the crabs to do a specific job.

I was also hoping to see pics. The list seems like you have a pretty good set-up. Remember that is not alot of light so do not get anything that requires alot of light. Good luck Scott

Sorry no pics yet, i will get some up in the next couple days.

I plan on getting a few more peppermint shrimps and will probally be taking out the emerald crabs, i will see how it goes with them. But as far as the lighting goes and water flow how does that all look and the rest of the stocking list? And once againg i will try to get some pictures up in the next day or so.

Thanks
