New Tank Lighting Question

I just picked up a 70 gallon reef ready acrylic tank.

I'm going to start it out as a fish only with live rock setup.

Knowing my coral addiction I'll probably add some softies later.

What would you suggest T5, T12 VHO, or something else?

The dimensions are 36 long, 24 wide, 20 tall.

Nice thing about T5's is you could start out with 2 and just keep adding as you start putting corals in the tank. That is assuming you have a canopy. If not grab one of the Garbage e-bay fixtures until you get serious about corals.

Agreed, go with the t-5's!
