In December I purchased a 110G Oceanic with LOTS of equipment. In January I purchased an All Glass Aquarium 90G with MORE equipmet. What I want to do is pick the BEST from what I have already purchased. Some decisions are easy and others have me second guessing myself. I know which ever tank I choose it will not be over 125G. I have 10 fish which are small to medium in size except for a 12 inch engineer goby. I want the flexibility to grow bothe SPS and LPS. Here is what I have:
Lights: 4 Ai SOL Blue with controller
Protein Skimmer: Reef Octopus OCTX 160
Pumps: 2 Eheim 1262
Circulation Pumps: 2 Hydor Koralia Evo 1400
Heating: 2 Ebo Jager 150W Heaters
Cooling: JBJ 1/3 HP
Controller: Neptune Aquacontroller JR with temp and ph probes plus DC8
Dosing Pumps: 2 BRS Dosing Pump
The million dollar question is how to manage the water. I have the following reactors:
BRS Biopellet
Vertex ZeoVit - can do Zeovit or Biopellet
BRS GFO
TLF GFO
Deltec Calcium
I am leaning towards TLF for GFO and Vertex for Biopellet. I have heard positive feedback, and one of the previous owners had good luck with this set up.
What would you recommend? Any suggestions? Concerns?
