Can anyone tell me what these little worm things are? I don’t think they are bristle worms because they don’t move , the tank is about 3 weeks old it has new sand , water and new dry rock I put a few fish to help with the cycle period and last week it started with a light dusting of brown diatoms (I was told to expect) but just a couple days ago these little worm looking things showed up it’s either worms or the largest fish turds I’ve ever seen lol. Just wondering if anyone else’s has seen them. I was told they aren’t bristle worms and they don’t appear to be living I’ll attach some photos

Also I should add that the fish are 2 neon dotty backs a flame angel and 2 clowns , my research says the flameangel and neon dotty backs will eat bristle worms but I dunno

I'm wondering if it wasn't the remains of something from the dry rock - like maybe bugs moved in during storage of the rocks.

Also, are you using some sort of bacteria product for the cycle? Otherwise it's going to be quite hard on those fish. And neon dottybacks generally don't like to be around others of their own species (or conspecifics), so you might be headed for some issues there.
