How long have you had it up? What all are you planning on putting in it?

Hey brandon thanks for looking have had it up three weeks now and am getting anxious about putting stuff in it..my ph has sspiked and is now going down but amonia is high so can t decide how much longer I have to wait..thinking about putting mainly a few soft corals and afish or two its..time and this is new .I had fresh water for a long time and nitrates where more of a concern....will be glad to get advice I can ..waiting is so hard..

Its definitely hard to wait, which is why patience is generally the most needed but not received item in tank husbandry... lol.

You'll need your ammonia and nitrites to be at 0 and your nitrates very low before putting anything in. Maybe another 3 weeks or so and everything should be good. You're almost there!
