i got a 48 inch coralife light 4 65 watt bulbs, i run a seaclone which i like, and a penguin 170 filter with pads and crushed live rock. no fuge or sump. i only use b-ionic,and occasionally dose dt's pyhtoplankton(for my coco worm and xmas tree rock, pics to come) bi-weekly water changes of 3 gallons of pre mixed salty critter water. i made my own food from the borneman/fenner recipe and feed a vegetable mash one day, and a shrimp/squid/oyster/cyclopeeze mash the next. tank is 9 months old and pretty much runs itself now that i dont go to kroger for the RO water anymore, my red algae problem disapeared after that. and thats pretty much my life story!
