Here are a few pics of my tank. It is on it's way back after an unfortunate accident. Sorry if they are kind of blurry I'm still trying to learn the new camera.

That about does it for now. Just to let everyone know the Fish Lady had about 15 juvenile hippo tangs and 5-10 Flame Angels along with others about two days ago. I paid $23.00 for the hippo and the Flame's were about $45.00.
We went to the tide pools but I think we went a little late. We got out there around noon, but low tide was at 1000 I believe. Still fun but nothing new for the tank
this is going to sound really really stupid, but do you guys snorkel to find stuff or are there places where you can just walk. I have been to several places to walk throught the tide pools (in fact walked through today also) and didnt find anything but some cucumbers.
I have snorkel gear (its really really cheap stuff) but hopefully I can get some new stuff ordered here shortly and get out there also.
I only snorkel because the stuff I like is nowhere near the shore really. Tide pools are good for hermit crabs and snails. I think you would be hard pressed to find some decent coral or even decent fish for that matter in a tide pool.
You don't really need anything more than cheap snorkeling gear. A wetsuit is nice but it's warming up and not a necessity. As long as your mask doesn't leak you're good. If you want to head out with us sometime just let me know. That goes for anybody on Okinawa that is reading this.
I do a lot of the walking stuff too but, I've never seen a patch of pink zoos the size of a couch in a tide pool. Josh and I found a giant group of zoos a few weeks a go. It was so big I couldn't figure out what he was pointing at! If you haven't been out looking you?fre going to be shocked at what is there.
I have all sorts of extra gear, masks, fins, etc... I would be happy to loan them to anybody that wants to go out. I even have an extra shorty or two.
I might hit you up on that offer here in a few weeks. I want my knee to get a little better first. the last thing I want is to get in the water and have problems making it back because of my dam knee.....
