New tank pics

just wanted to show you guys some new pics, just got some corals from a buddy so please disregard the white epoxy! just downgraded from my 75 gallon while im in the process of moving so this is just my "Holding Tank" for now! dont worry about the wires and silicone in the background because it was my old sump for my 75! haha please questions and comments welcome!

I also want to see if any of the "LPS" guys can ID these guys...i know they are acans i think, but dont know more than that. acan lords?

Twz, its really only been running about 2 months...transfered everything from my 75 when we had to move to a smaller place for the time being.

str8clownr, Ha, yeah its Jerry, how'd you know? had to get rid of most of my stuff when i downgraded, just brought them back to the store...cant wait til i can get a big tank set up again, probably going with a 90 when i get around to getting it back up

ya i just got a really good deal on a 120g so im going to try and build my own stand and set it up

not bad....120 is that 4 foot, or 5 foot tank? my next one will be a 90 when i get it set up again...

its a 4x2x2 , i reallly like those dimensions, i would have gone for the 90 but i got reaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllly good deal on the 120, too good to pass up, so i had to pull the trigger. its used but ive been cleaning it up and am going to re do some siliconing....
dude we reallly gotta trade some frags, that orange/pink/yellow acan you ahve is sick!

yeah i try to keep up with it, pretty sure hes trying to sell it because hes moving back there soon. yeah that acan i just got last week, from the see it before you buy it site. also once i get the balls to try to frag those, ill let you know!

Beauty. Love the aquascape. Makes it look bigger than it is. Those acans in the 6th pic down are CRAAAAAZY!

One of our local guys likes to highlight his acans like that one by hanging one of those 420nm LED lights over it. You should see the extra colors that come out despite already being under actinics.

Capt_Cully ... something to think about that would be nice to get extra color pop out of those. yeah everyone i show it to at the store tells me the same things about it looking bigger than it is.

reeftanks6, thanks for the comment, hopefully ill get some growth out of the monti's i put in there last week and will make it look more full

My main concern would be that you epoxyed an awful lot of sps pieces in place on that piece of live rock on the left and they are awfully close. Not much room for them to grow out and they are now fixed in place.

The more room you give them initially, the faster they will grow. Unless this is a myth... when given enough room, they can concentrate all of their energy into growing, not 'fighting'.
