Great photos! You've got me figured out with all the equipment shots. Yes, nice setup.... Anxious but still low on funds for any upgrades myself. Love the cat checking out the fuge!

I would love to see in person. I do work in elk grove.... ** COUGH HINT HINT COUGH**

LOL, I still cant believe how clean it looks, the pipe work is just awesome and so clean. No purple or blue. Who did the pipe work for you?

Boviac,

I'm glad i am of use :). LMK if you have any questions, i'll be glad to lend a helping hand.

thanks jesse for the compliment.

Edwin,

Sure you can come over if you want. Just PM me when you want to come over. I still have some pink milli frags i can give away if you want some.

Not that clean if you look at it closely couple of blue and purple. :( But yeah i did the plumbing myself. After many replumbing projects and water spillage, you kinda figure out a better way each time around :). You don't want to know how much money i spent on just the PVC and pipes for this project....

WOW!!! I'd love to be able to come check it out too... I live in Elk Grove and can come over whenever it's convenient for you. I'm picking up a 180 this weekend and can only hope to get it half as clean yours. Did the tank come drilled? I'd like to be able to drill the 180 from the bottom also but I hear that most tanks are tempered on the bottom.

Ryan

ps. I'd love a piece of that pink milli if you still have one not spoken for...

Very Nice tank and set-up. I'm actually getting a 210 AGA in roughly a month, so I'm glad I found your thread.

It looks like you're not using the returns in the overflow...is the return to the tank going through the 4-way? What pumps did you decide to use for your set-up?

How are your SPS doing under the 250W with the added depth of the 210?

Thanks, i hope this thread is of use to you. Though i don't have many pics and much info on my setup, hehe.

Not anymore, i initially set it up that way because i needed to transfer my livestock as fast as possible. With the new plumbing, which is not yet completed, the return will be fed back to the tank through a WavySea. The closed loop which is ran via the Hammerhead is feeding the 4way.

I have two pumps in my system.
Dart: Return on WavySea. Feeds water to UV, Phosban Reactors, Chiller, Calcium Reactor
Hammerhead: Closed Loop on OceansMotions 4way.

Hard to quantify how well the SPS are doing under the 250 but, they are growing and i have yet to lose any.

The stand looks to be one of the new Mission style stands from AGA correct? The hood looks custom though, build it yourself? How did you get it to match the stand?

Yes you are correct it is the new AGA mission stand.

Yes the hood is a very simple hood i built. Lowes and Home Depot actually sell wood covers that matches the pattern and color for the AGA stand. I just slapped it on there and puttied the seams with maple putty.

I am going to be starting my install of a 210 AGA next week.

Sounds like you are using only the two drilled drains? They provide enough water for both pumps?

Where in Lowes/Home Depot did you find that wood cover? Do you remember if they had it in Cherry as well?

Yes, I did some calculations to see if it can and it does turn out ok. To very my calculation's correctness i did a lot experimenting with different pumps and drain holes. After all of this i was confident that the 4 holes provided by AGA will be enough to naturally feed both my pumps, Dart and Hammerhead.

Gawdly,

I'm not sure what that department is called but it is where you buy the material to cover walls with. At Lowes they had this huge Rolodex of this material and i'm pretty sure they had cherry color.
