So ive been working on a project tank to replace my 90 gal in my living room for about 6 months now. I sold the acrylic 120 I had and upgraded to a glass 140. here it is with the stand and canopy, stands at about 7 feet tall, 8 feet with the lid open. I ordered a new overflow for it and will be here in a couple weeks. Im going to bounce a couple ideas off you guys. 1 what rock structure type for the new tank its 30 inces tall, 5 feet long and 18 deep. 2 the 90, turn it into a frag tank or a macro algae tank with small fish like pipe fish and gobies / inverts. thanks for looking and your thoughts.

Your 90 is a really good looking tank. It's going to look great in the 140! I know you are a handy person, did you consider trying to make creative rock formations by drilling rock and using acrylic rods? I've been looking at some of those on other build threads and they look really cool the way they make shelves at different levels to place corals.

The only reason I ask is my old cube was 36" tall and I just piled rock up in there and I had a lot of dead spots. If I was going to set that tank up again I would try to do something to make sure the bottom back of the tank was a little more open.
