it does not look like you have a hole drilled in the top of the Durso. drill a hole and then feed some tubing down it until you hit the "sweet spot". that should stop the gurgling and burping.
fwiw, i switched from vinyl tubing to PVC on my return which is almost identical to yours. i have since switched back to vinyl b/c the noise is significantly less.
