New tank

I'm looking to set-up a 96x24x30 inch tank. Any reputable online places where I can purchase one? Also, I'm looking for a glass tank. How thick should the glass be? 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, tempered vs non-tempered, and does it make a difference?

If you have the space, I'd recommend going 36" front to back (deep) versus 24". You will love it.

While I have had no aquariums from them, I know Custom Aquariums have some amazing tanks! A tank that size would cost $1900 from them (https://www.customaquariums.com/glass-aquariums/all-aquarium-standard-sizes.html). Agree you'll be happier with a 30" or 36" front to back on that size tank.

There are a few good custom builders that can do a custom tank for you as well. I had Miracles build mine and love it. My dimensions were 82L x 40W x 26H. My tank is Euro braced and has 3/4" starphire glass on three sides. I found his prices were very resonable. If you go wider and upgrade to starphire (low iron) glass you will be happier. The clarity is amazing in person. Going with a wider tanks will open up some nice aqua-scaping options as well.
