I started setting up my new tank Sunday. It is the same size as the previous tank except 3/4 inch more shallow and has an external overflow box. 36x36x10 1/4. I will have 400w lumenarc as well as 300w VHO actinic on this one--so 700w
I have a bunch of pictures but I cant display them because I have a new laptop and I cant find my old camedia master 2.0 for an Olympus camera
If anyone has it please PM me.
I got done with the plumbing and putting in the sand on Sunday,
this tank will have all sand not a mix.
Almost all of the corals are in the basement sitting in a tank I bought from Nic a few weeks ago.
I have not put the monster clam in the basement just yet, as the basement tank is only about 3 weeks old.
The fish are still in my upstairs tank and they will go downstairs with the clam on Saturday.
I plan on removing all of the old sand bed from the sump as well as the old display and transferring them as the substrate for the new DSB in the new sump.
The new sump is 24x24x20 and has a ton of compartments.
The new tank will not have the clam in the center-instead it will have a bunch more zoos that are spread all over STL until I got room/rid of the monster. I am guessing about 5-6000 more polyps will be in the new tank, when I get them back.
I really need a software program so I can display the pics-so if any one has the software for the olypmus c-2100 UZ I would appreciate it. As soon as I can post pics I will
