Hi all,

Just saw a tank in my LFS and it was 3feet deep. I forgot the name of the manufacturer, but the salesman said that it was a relatively new design. Does anyone know who the manufacturer is? and are there any opinions on this dimension?

Thanks

TT

My lfs had one too what a great looking tank and lots of room to display corals also easy to clean

My tank is so deep and thin and very hard to clean

36" is pretty deep, you would need some intense lighting for a tank that deep. Lots of folks out there making tanks, could be anyone. Research before you buy.

thanks for replies

you are right snake it is marineland.

now i have to figure out a way to pay for it!!!!

I was looking at the 6ft model which i believe is the 300gal.
they were offering a total package type deal at the LFS. It's probably better to pick and choose accessories, right?

3' deep meaning front to back, not top to bottom.

These are the tanks;

They're called Marineland Deep Dimension Tanks, and are manufactured by Perfecto.

They have the 300g model at a fish store up here... It's awesome. :eek2:

I love the 72x36x27 its the same size as my acrylic tank that I have right now.

I wouldnt want to move it in glass though it would take 4 people for sure to move it.

good point about the weight. i didn't think about that one. i now remember my last experience with my old 150gal.

Oh, I gotcha....sorry for the misunderstanding. That's much different, and much cooler. That's the one complaint I have about my 90. I wish it was about twice as wide as it is. I have it set up peninsula style, so what most people refer to as "depth," I call width. What most people refer to as "width," I think of "length."

I helped my buddy move his new 48x36x27 Marineland tank and we only had 3 people. Of course I got the end by myself and I can honestly say... it's frickin heavy!

i gotta say that the 6 footer is intimidating me, i may have them deliver the stand for me. im not that strong.....lol
