new tear drop T.maxima

I just inherited a teardrop maxima and wanted to know if I can keep it on the rock work? i have pleanty of light for it Ijust have the perfect place on the rocks for it.

but i think that you will get a concenous, that he will like the sand better, you can put him on the rock as well..

you can keep it on rocks, but for now i would start it on the bottom of yoru tank until it adjust to yoru lighting then you can move him up in the tank as time goes by.

Thats what I did julio. I placed it on the sand in a half clam shell. In another perfect place in the tank

congradulations on the clam, see how well it does on the bottom, max's prefer the sandbed, croceas prefer the rocks...but then agen I have a 2 and a half inch ultra max high up in the rock work in my 75...back when I had 175's a couple of months ago I swaped over to 250 DE 10k ushios...and he is still happy as a clam lol...still atached...but in the bext month or so ill remove all my clams over to the clam tank fuge im puting together at the moment...

I wouldn't bother with it too much as they are VERY sentitive.

so far so good and its nice of you to ask. Its expanding more each day. I can't seem to get a clear pic of it but I will try again.

shut off all of your circulation pumps and take it from the top. A clam is best view at the top.
