New Technology Lets You Focus - AFTER you shoot!

Very cool. I remember reading about this when he was "developing" the camera a few years ago. It will be interesting to see how it goes. I bet a lot of pro's will not like it. Kind of like how a lot of people in the hobby hate HDR... It's almost like cheating.

Looks like it's more geared towards the Point & Shoot market. Basically, it's like shooting a camera with the lens wide open and letting the software unfocus/focus certain parts. You can do this now in post-processing, even easier with a software called "Bokeh 2".

Yes, you can de-focus selectively but you really can't refocus something that's out of focus in the original with current technology.
